The Rathskeller

Originally built in 1898, the architect of the primary building (now known as the Atheneum) was Bernard Vonnegut Sr, grandfather of American author Kurt Vonnegut.

Rathskeller concerts are often held in the outdoor biergarten behind the Atheneum (pictured above) in an old bandshell surrounded by picnic tables.
