A long time Jeff Beck fan from high school days, I was never really sure that I would have the chance to see JB perform live. Needless to say I was highly stoked for this show and not at all disappointed. Paul Thorn opened and I was somewhat familiar with him from the syndicated radio program, Bob And Tom. Some of his songs were quite funny like Joanie, The Jehovah Witness Stripper. He was an entertaining warm up to the main event. Jeff Beck for his part delivered a stellar set of new and classic songs - perhaps a bit lacking on the Yardbirds, but full of master guitar chops and licks.
