THE BLUEBIRD
216 N. Walnut Street
Bloomington, Indiana

For many years, the most iconic live music venue in Bloomington, Indiana, The Bluebird has hosted many local, regional and national acts throughout its rich history. As a local and regional club, The Bluebird was the proving ground for many of Indiana's own music exports, including Roadmaster, Faith Band, Light and many more. Perhaps more familiar to locals, The Rods and Cones have played here as well as The Spirtles. The Bluebird has also hosted a robust list of nationally known artists, covering a broad spectrum of musical styles and genres.

The venue itself is an odd triangualr layout, with a slightly split level. It is a difficult room for sound check, as many artists will attest.

Capacity about 750
